Adobong Sitaw

My favorite dish for string beans, simple and easy to cook but delicious.

Ingredients for 4 servings:
1/2 kilo string beans ( sitaw)
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 onion
4 cloves garlic
salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:
1. Saute the garlic and onion then increase the heat before adding the string beans, because the intense heat makes the vegetable retain its natural color and I like it that way.
2. Add the string beans and soy sauce, then stir it until cooked.
3. Add vinegar, salt and pepper then simmer until done.
4. Serve hot.
